Big Worm uses Lamin-X vinyl and Anchor Room uses more of a regular tint vinyl that's thinner and easier to work with. I've used both and can't say enough about the customer service from Jason @ Anchor Room. Absolutely top-notch.

I am assuming the vinyl are similar in quality. BWG can charge double because they have a stronger reputation.

I don't have any experience with either vendors but lamin-x film is much thicker and offers some protection from rocks etc. More of a clear bra material. I ran clear lamin-x on my Shelby's headlights and foglights.

Correct, we use Lamin-X material for our kits. Lamin-X is designed to be used on lights, it is 12 mil thick material compared to 2 or 3 mil for regular vinyl. The extra thickness increases durability and makes installation easier. When you heat the material with a heat gun or hair dryer it forms to a curved lens and thinner material can wrinkle easier. The Lamin-X is lot more expensive which is why are kits cost more. We have tried using other material in the past and believe Lamin-X is the best product for this type of application. In our testing it is also better visibility. We test the products on our own cars and have several customers that test new items for feedback. If you have any questions about any of our products, customers can message me here thru the forum or call/email our shop ([email protected] or 817-448-9741). We install our lens protection products for no additional charge at our shop so we will be glad to help on install tips or questions.

The material we use is 3 mil thick and lends to an easier installation, we also use our products on our own cars, as do our supporting vendors that sell our product such as JLT performance, Latemodel restoration, and Lethal Performance to name a few. We run a highly automated business which helps us keep our costs to a minimum and pass those savings on to you!

We are also the only vendor that offers a 'Goof Proof/Ease of mind guarantee' - you mess up a piece, we replace it for a fraction of the cost - we make mistakes all the time, and realize that you may also, that's why our customers love that guarantee.

We have installation videos located on our YouTube channel as well as our website so you can get a good 'feel' for how its done!

Customer service is our #1 priority, I am sure that current customers of ours will attest to that! If you have any questions about our product, please don't hesitate to contact me directly!

So far no complaints with the anchor room tint. I have all the little lights done. Still need to do the tail lights and headlights. I am no expert at working with the tint only ones I had a little trouble with so far was the fog lights and learning how to use the heat gun to make them form to light. They turned out ok a few imperfections but since it's in the fog lights it's not very noticeable. Just have to be patient with the heat and keep smoothing them out. All the other lights were pretty flat and installed fairly easy. Will put pics up when done with them all.

Has anyone with Oxford white got their tail lights done? If so please post some pics. I'm curious to see as I'm still not sure if I should get it done on my Oxford. Thanks
