Amsoil gives people the option of signing up as a preferred customer, it costs 10$ for 6mos or 20$ for 12 mos. it gives you about a 25% discount over the list prices. for the 5w50 its 8.90 a quart or 101.25 for a case of 12. Normally you have to pay shipping which for me its about 15-20$ for a case, so the free shipping is just a nice bonus.

I usually just buy the 6 month membership and i will place two orders a year for a case and half at a time (depending on how much oil you are burning!)

Buying 4 (that's a case) 1 gallon containers is a better deal. Besides...an oil change uses 2 gallons anyway so....

I was speaking in general not about 5w50 specifically. And I sure wouldn't run 5w50 in a street going car unless certain conditions were met. Most here can't even drive a gt hard enough to justify it even on a track. 5w40 is better suited. Oil pressure is very high on the street with 5w50. 5w30 and 5w40 or 0w40 is far better suited.

Look a like you have a gt350 though so please disregard.

I got it 2 weeks ago or so, there was no free shipping coupon, and it became free shipping as soon as I joined, so yes.

Just had a look, I paid 114.41 all up, shipped to Newton, MA (10 quarts).
