It is hidden under a cover just as it is on the GT350. Follow the two cables and note where they disappear, rear of the strut tower...

So to use the battery tender plus do I have to take that plastic cover off to get to the battery????

Again, the GT500 battery location is no different than any other S550 Mustang since 2015. Search in the forums and you'll see how others have wired up their cars for quick connect charging.
