Amazing Race

Anyone watch the amazing race? One of the challenges was they had to do some calculations to figure out the years of classic Mustangs.... at the end the winning team won a 2015 Mustang. They said they would be one of the first to own the car so I assume it'll be one of the first of the saleable cars.

*** I get it. The Ford Mustang is a great car. And the Ford Foci that people were driving earlier were fine cars as well. Every year there's at least one tipping point episode when "Amazing Race" just gives up and becomes a 60-minute commercial, whether it's for Travelocity or for Snapple. This was that episode. And Dave & Connor only got ONE Mustang? Between them? Phil Keoghan sure didn't *say* they were each getting one. That's no so impressive anymore.

60 min commercial for the Mustang? Sounds good to me!

*** The equation they had to solve involving those Mustangs? That was complicated. Without Leo deciding to stop and help them, Jennifer & Caroline would still be there today trying to figure it out, just as they would still be trying to put together that car from the 2nd Leg if the Cowboys hadn't given them the Express Pass.

.....OR they could just have a clue about cars :frusty:

I know, my wife was rolling her eyes because I was telling her the year of the cars as they showed them.


I'm pretty sure he said they would EACH get one... and The Amazing Race has been an add for Ford for years. I thought it was pretty cool product placement. Now, if they'd only get to race them in the last leg!

I watch 'The Amazing Race', it was pretty cool to see the challenge where they had to get the right years for the mustang they had. My wife did the same thing, rolled eyes and told me I'm crazy, lol.

From the sound of it they both get one each, at least that's what Phil said during the race.

I can't wait, because they are bringing them home to Utah. hopefully I catch them on the roads! They will be popular in the state with thr Mustang community that's for sure.
