Im glad someone brought this back. What the status on this? The 3300 lb goal is an aggressive one and I want to see wzup with it.

I would think that ALL interior would have to be gone including seats and only have 1 CF race seat. For example, all the trunk material is only 10 lbs. I would also think that every exterior panel that can be removed would have to be replaced with CF.

Let us know!

I Fell off the bandwagon. I got preoccupied building a new shop and running electrical. BUT I have purchased all the Aluminum I need to finish up the Radiator support and it has just been sitting until i had some free time.

But as of right now this is the plan.
Radiator support in aluminum
2pc rotors
CF DS
Carbon Doors
Thats where i'll be done.

I'm Think i'm only going to be getting it down to high 3500's. I want to redo the front fascia Eventually with my own custom thing once the new mustang comes out. Pretty much figured if I want to go any lighter I'm going to be spending the same amount of money as the Twin turbo kit I want. And TT will win the vote.

If price isn't a concern you have many more options of losing weight.
Braille battery weighs 9 pounds.
Technocraft T3 seats are 6 pounds each.

Depending on what your cars use is for you could switch to the aluminum differential also. I have a GT350 track pack and when I removed or added anything I weighed it. Some of the weights on my teardown thread may help you.

I thought about the Light battery option but seeing how its in the trunk I'm not too worried. That might change as I used 0ga and it doesn't seem to be enough to crank the car when cold. its really slow and I fear eventually will cause premature starter failure.... I'd assume the Braille's have less capacity/cranking amps?
