The 5.2 alluminator XS is now available (I called Ford racing and they confirmed it will be ready to ship on 8/11)

It comes with GT 350 oil pump and pan and not the CJ oil pan they used when they first showed the motor.

I confirmed from Ford racing the oil pump does NOT have billet OPG.

Manley rods and Mahle pistons with 12:1 CR

Crank is supposed to be new but specs are not that much that different from a regular coyote crank.

GT 350 heads of course with the GT 350 spec cams.

Cobra spec intake.

Ford racing has claimed 580 hp with headers NA but i am not sure it would run any stronger than a Voodoo with headers.

Any thoughts on adding boost to this ?

I have the option of TT or 3.2 KB.

I am thinking TT since non billet OPG/crank sprocket less likely going to be an issue?.
Of course it can be tore down to add billet OPG/crank sprocket but it would lose the "drop in" and "quickest way to get going" appeal for me and my situation now.

My tuner confirmed like I thought that the CR would not be an issue with E85.

It would not take much boost to make killer numbers going by what the boosted voodoo's are making.

It comes with a 2 year warranty but I sure that will be voided if you boost it.

MSRP is $19K but you can get it in the 15-16 range.

The "base" alluminator long block is $10 K so $5K more for the better heads/cams/crank does not sound too bad.

Of course I am sure you can build a "better" and "stronger" long block for less but

You could order this and have it ready to go in a few days which is part of the appeal for me.

I would go with mpr or bes and let them build. I think you have shown you and Ford crate engines do not work well together. Just kidding! Let us know how it turns out

tear open a brand new crate to put an opg in for boost? nahhh.

find someone to build you an engine for your needs the 1st time.

i realize its not hard to swap the opg for better one but still id just have one built for your needs if you insist on buying another engine.

Hmmm, buy it and find out as I'll be replacing my motor in the coming year. Heard those 5.2 blocks are stout

I would be worried about the piston design. If it is built as a high revving, high compression N/A motor, the piston design and ring setup could be all wrong for any kind of real boost, regardless if forged or not.
