I'm in the same boat as well, I actually don't mind it being the body color but maybe that will change after I get the car.

Like I said, if you guys are on the fence about plastidipping something just go for it. If you follow the instructions and do a good job masking, the plastidip will just peel right off if you don't like the results. I plastidipped the roof on my current car and ended up peeling it off 6 months later when it got a little too sunbaked. A little clay bar and wax and it was back to brand new.

I think Ingot Silver, Guard and Deep Impact Blue are the only colors that look halfway decent with the all-one-color rear bumper on the base models. I have a Triple Yellow and my base rear end just has WAY too much yellow going on. It needs come contrast...badly!

Mines Magnetic and the color looks good. I do admit though that Id like a Black or carbon fiber overlay perhaps. Maybe adding fins or something- idk lol

Yeah I prefer the clean non-diffuser look and one of the reasons I bought the base model.

here is mine. I did it twice cause the first time i didn't take the tape off while the dip was still wet. 3 months and the plastic dip is still in good shape.
