My rendering is 100% from scratch. I started with nothing anyone else did - reason being is that personally I haven't seen anything I really liked yet.

Here's something I did before anyone had seen anything on the new 2010 Camaro. I put together a very quick concept rendering for Popular Hot Rodding magazine and here's the print it got. Nothing not even hints were even shown anywhere and this was my take on things. I was contacted shortly after by 2 people from GM asking what I'd seen and how I got my concept so close! It was pretty funny. In my opinion my new Mustang S550 render is far better than this.

I remember this render as well... amazing how close you got to the real thing. Has anyone at Ford seen your latest render and said anything similar??

That yellow C&D one really looks like a Probe with an Evos grill to me. Where is the muscle??

The car and driver one is zzzzzz.....

This is one of my favorites. I think just make a few changes to make it look more modern while still looking like a Mustang.

I can give you a verbal update. It's coming along really well. It takes time. I also have a full time job to do, so my time is limited.

Some things that will be included:

Bullitt wheels (no ridiculous sized rims). A traditonal, yet still very applicable design.

A very distinct, modern interpretation of the "C-scoop".

Properly proportioned body that is legitimately practical for form and function. No micro window slits, or roofline 12" higher than the hood (rolls eyes) lol, or obviously would only fit 2 seats.

Tri-tailights that I will try to make as traditional as possible while being aesthetically cohesive. Sometimes simplicity rules. We'll see how my vision for them turns out. I may have to try a few different things before I get it right. The current was just a place holder.

Proper badging.

Bad-assedness.

^^^ The verbal update sounds good at least. If I may suggest, please for the love of god make it practical like something we could expect from Ford. The C&D one above is TOO practical (read: boring) but a lot of other renders belong in a comic book.

thumbs up

I like the aggressive hips and shoulders on the front and rear fenders. Keep those. I think thats what is missing in the car and driver render. Way too bland.

Haven't seen this one before!

This is just a photochop of an existing Ford Evos concept sketch. As a matter of fact I think the sketch wasn't modified and only color added and then signed by the colorist. If I had done the original black and white sketch and saw someone color it and then sign their name to it I'd be pretty pissed off. Just sayin.

Here's the original by Ernesto Rupar...

Yes they have. My buddy Evan Smith from Muscle Mustangs magazine pushed me to get it done prior to the NY Auto show. I shot it off to him and he did in fact show it to Ford. Only 2 comments are - the drop down on the nose was just a little too aggressive and maybe just some fine tuning on the rear quarters...but there wasn't any specified details of them comparing it to the up and coming Mustang - so what that means I don't know. They seemed to dig it though from what Evan said. Doesn't mean I necessarily got close. Now I did send it to a close friend who works at Ford Racing. He's a regional sales/marketing guy. He showed it to a couple guys and one comment was "If he's not designing in the Ford Design Studio, he should be." and the other comment was "It literally LOOKS like a Cobra Snake..." Which was exactly what i was going for. When I did this concept I wasn't necessarily trying guess exactly what I thought the car will look like - my crystal ball is still in for servicing - I designed it to how I think it should look as a forward thinking concept that could be built as a 2015 GT500. I will say it's aggressive but definitely very doable as a '15 car.
