Airbox Snorkel

Anybody happen to know the part number to this "snorkel" piece? I ordered the GT500 airbox and cover to help keep the IAT down for my JLT intake. I saw somebody do it, so I wanted to give it a try.

I ordered it from my local Ford dealer. I just asked them to order the airbox assembly which I thought would come with the snorkel but it didn't.

Here's pictures of the boxes with the part numbers, I think I remember paying about $200.

What JLT intake do you have? Does the intake pipe fit into the box? Have you tried yet?

I have whichever fits the 2018+. Everything fits except the air filter that comes with the JLT. You'll have to buy a slightly smaller one, but it's hard to find one that's a bit shorter that will still fit the huge opening of the JLT. This will fit:

Final question and then I’ll stop derailing this topic: did your JTL require a tune? Mine required a tune and I’m curious if a shorter filter would effect the tune.

Yes, it requires a tune. The filter won't affect the tune at all, but if you have concerns you can install the new filter and send data logs to your tuner so they can take a look to see if any changes are necessary.

Can you do me a favor and see if there is a part number on the part that I'm asking about? I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.

Boy I just can’t get a cover here in Canada , I would have to buy the whole air box at more the 900 bucks after tax . I sure would like a little help getting a air box top and Ford won’t even order it with out a vin . Anyone

I got the whole thing, except the part I'm looking for here, for about $200. I went to my local dealer and ordered it, I just looked up a GT500 VIN

Yes, I'm not sure it will fit the airbox for the GT500. I tried to use the OEM part from my 2018 and it didn't fit.

I just realized it was for a GT500.

Unfortunately this is the only diagram i can pull up. It doesn't look like it shows the piece you need, only the box.
