I would disagree with airbrushing being in the past . Some things look amazing airbrushed . Right now I have a deck lid being painted comp orange with a 3d running pony being airbrushed on back . I think will be custom yet very classy and eye catching

I would like that painted on the heat protector under the hood, so when you lifted the hood it would be there... I think that would look nice

I'm not fond of that design, but those saying airbrushing is something left in or from the past don't have a clue. Plenty of examples underhood, nitrous bottles, helmets, etc.

I'd thought a pinstripe design on a blank rear panel might look good...but I'm sure that wouldn't go over well w/ many here as well.

F 'em and do what you want...

Allow me to clarify for you. I think that air brushing the hood/sides/rear of any modern car is a sin. In my opinion there is nothing classy about it. Eye catching? for sure, but not classy. Now, if you want to airbrush your helmet, engine bay pieces, interior pieces or things like that than cool.

Do what you want though, it's your car. Just don't get butt hurt when people voice an opinion that you don't like.

That is all.

do you not understand emoticons? lol

sorry yall but airbrushing gets a big thumbs down when it's on a body panel. that's just some of our opinions...those of you who do it, you're making the payments so go for it.

That's a terrific illustration. Probably would look best on a pure show car. Might also work well on a tee shirt... I bet those would sell like crazy at car events.
