So after months of searching I finally pulled the trigger on a new set of wheels for my 2019 401a GT/CS! I went with the XO Luxury Madrid wheels with a 20x10.5 +30 for the front and 20x11 +50 for the rear. I’ve looked through close to 100 pages of threads to figure out the best tire sizes to use.

I’m currently lowered on eibach sport lines and would love to run 305/30/20 and 315/35/20, but I can’t find anything that says that would be too aggressive. What do you guys think?

If you’re on sportlines and plan on running a 315/35/20, prepare to have a bad time

Honestly the rear fit meant was the one I was least worried about haha, what would you recommend? Do you think my fronts will fit?

A 10.5 +30 wheel will fit for sure, I had some on my car last year, but they were 19’s with 295/35’s. That’s about the same size as a 305/30/20, with the 305/30/20 being a hair taller. I don’t have sportlines so I can’t say for sure whether they’ll rub, but that width wheel will fit with a bit of camber. In my opinion, your best bet would be to run a 305/30 front and rear. The pp2’s use a similar set up, the difference being 19” wheels instead of your 20’s. They run 305/30’s on 19x10.5’s on the front and 305/30 on 19x11’s out back

Additionally, your stock wheel tire size is a 255/40/19, so you’re looking at roughly a 27” tall tire. A 315/35/20 is almost 29” tall in diameter. So measure your rear wheel to fender gap, and add about 7/8” to the top of where your current tires are now. That’s about where your 20’s will sit if you run a 315/35

So what if I went with 295/30/20 fronts and 305/30/20 rears? Really my goal is to get as much usable tire onto the ground while still clearing everything

Also, if I ever decide to go with bags, will these wheels still fit? I just can’t wait for them to get here so I can get them on the car and see half of all these stuff I have questions about.

That would work too, as well as proving additional clearance. I just didn’t recommend them because I wasn’t familiar with that size and wasn’t sure how many options there’d be. A quick search proved there to be quite a bit of options in that tire size

That I can’t really speak on as I have no experience with air bags. I imagine the fender clearance would be okay when they’re aired up. Perhaps not when they’re aired out though. And idk how wide the bags are so you may run out of space between the air bag and the inside of the wheel

So happy with them!!! They rub just a hair in the front and I’m pretty sure its the inner fender liner when I hit a bigger bump, but more time and driving will tell.

That looks awesome. I’m surprised they rub in the front and not the back. Did you go with the 305/30 and 315/35? I had 10.5’s on my car and they didn’t rub at all. I wasn’t on sportlines though. A 10.5 +30 gives the car a killer stance. Did you go with the

I ended up running 295/30/20 on the front and the rim is a 20x10.5 +30 and the. The rear I went with 305/30/20 on 20x11 +50. Everything clears well, but I can hear it rubbing hitting a speed bump (not a bump lol) at 35 mph in the front. The roads near my house are pretty decent though so I need to find some tougher roads to see just how much they are rubbing. I’m debating if I should invest in camber plates or not before I take it down to get aligned. Here are more pictures of it parked up on a curb to get it to compress more. The rear tucks perfectly.

Going with a 295/30 and 305/30 was a good call. If possible, I’d try and figure out where you're rubbing before getting cc plates. If you’re rubbing on the front of the fender liners, cc plates won’t help you gain any clearance there. And it doesn’t really look like you can go any more positive camber wise front or rear. Glad you’re happy with your set up
