I'm 58-

I have almost always had something loud and quick. Most of them have been '68-'72 A body GM cars.

I love em, but any of you that have them know it's getting harder and harder to keep up that old plastic and rubber. Don't live close to a gas station that sells alcohol free gas? That could be a big problem.

S197 was the trigger for me to let go of the classics.

On my fifth Mustang, 2nd Shelby in my adult life. My first one at 35, and everyone asked is this your mid-life crisis. Um no! LOL

I thought grandad should change his boy racer red Fiesta ST2 into something a bit more sensible ie Mustang GT

As befits s 67 year old.

38. Got the eco boost because in the real world the speed is about the same but loads cheaper to run

I’m 71. When I graduated from high school I had a new 66 GTO convertible. Was a year old left over. Put $10 down for the dealer to hold it for me. Times have sure changed. I’ve always had fast cars since I was 16. When I was young I beat the crap out of them. Spent a lot of money fixing them. Had to find rides to work while they were being fixed. Brake stands, power shifting, leaving rubber, doing doughnuts, beating the crap out of a car seems silly now! I’ve got a 19 GT350 and a 12 RS3 Tuned Roush now. Both cars are really fun to drive without killing them. If I had the money I’d buy a GT350R and still keep the other two! My neighbor asked me why I had two Mustangs? I said because I can’t afford three!

Began my midlife crises at the age of 20 when I used my Variable Reenlistment Bonus to buy a Volvo P1800. That was followed by a '65 Mustang, which was my last 'Stang till now. But a whole slew of rides, from Alfa Romeo Spyder to Studebaker Golden Hawk, in between. Traded a Genesis G80 Sport Sedan 3.3t for this. It was a super car, but I was never able to abide a sedan for long (2400 miles in this case)...

42...this is my first mustang, but I've driven nothing but 2 dr coupes, mostly little asian cars my entire life. Wanted a car my wife would actually get in with me and ride around instead of taking her damn van :). Also second convertible. This car is honestly one of the most beautiful cars ever in a moderate price range that I've ever seen. Hands down better looking than anything Mopar or Chevy puts out. Every time I use the auto remote and walk out the house I have to stop and appreciate it.

Is it just me or when the top goes down it turns the Mustang from a nice looking car into a work of art?
