Could you tell me what was need for the installation of the radio? I'm looking at the Kenwood dmx8709s for a 2015 Ecoboost premium.
idatalink RR or RR2 and an idatalink MFT1.

As was stated above, you need...
iDatalink Maestro RR

Then I used this dash kit
iDatalink KIT-MFT1

I also purchased the antenna adapter
Metra 40-EU10

I also tried the GPS adapter by iDatalink, but that didn't work well. So I just used the GPS antenna in the Kenwood kit.

There might be a prewired harness for the Mustang. I just spliced things and made it up, but there are many premade options so there might be one available for the Mustang. And then of course cableing and other items depending on if you're putting in speakers or subs. But those three pieces are the key ones for installing the head unit.

Hope that helps!
