Aftermarket Active Exhaust before Y pipe

So I am kinda itching for the ‘option’ to have a louder exhaust. I currently have the mbrp race catback and sometimes I wish the car was a little bit louder yet I don’t wanna add a dp. Has anyone placed some sort of active exhaust system before the y pipe to act as a muffler delete yet allow me to switch between that and the mufflers? It’s a stupid idea but life is short and I’m curious.
