Car in question is a 19 Ecoboost, 17k miles, tuned with bolt ons. Intercooler, exhaust, bov, intake tube, catch can, pd tune.
I'm getting a slight howl like noise when coming off the gas at lower RPMs, sounds like it's coming from the drivers side somewhere in the engine bay. The more load the...
Yes this worked!! Thanks for letting me know that. Now that I have passed emissions, back to modding for another year!!! I was gonna keep driving until that monitor turned on.
Ost - off the shelf. This is a pre loaded Cobb tune. They have a stage 0 tune which is supposed to be stock. Unmarrry means to basically uninstall the AccessPort to regain your factory tune.
I cannot confidently explain how it works but basically it dumps extra fuel that isnāt burned off and will ignite in the exhaust. Someone please correct me because I feel like Iām missing points here but that is what I think it is.
Well I gave up on the stage 0 and am now back to full stock, no tune at all. That really should get rid of any variables that would keep the sensors being stuck on a not ready status. I should go through a few drive cycles today. The stage 0 tune seemed to work except the EVAP system was the...
Flashed OST 93 tune and all the sensors came on except for the catalyst.. switched to stage 0 stock tune for another attempt. To go full stock do I have to unmarry the AP?
Alright.. update! Ryan got back to me and said this seems to happen all the time and that he doesn't ever touch the sensors. Was told to flash an ost or stock tune and drive it awhile. Hopefully this works!
No lights, let me run a quick test an
so no codes come up on my AP, I checked the I/M Readiness and it shows my catalyst, oxygen sensor, and oxygen sensor heater in a not ready status... Guess my tuner disabled them?
Hello all, just got back from the local emissions center and received a fail grade on my test. Im not sure why... It listed catalyst and an oxygen sensor as a reason. I am on a 93 tune by pdtuning and have a burble tune but his site says they follow emission standards. I still have my stock cat...
So I am kinda itching for the āoptionā to have a louder exhaust. I currently have the mbrp race catback and sometimes I wish the car was a little bit louder yet I donāt wanna add a dp. Has anyone placed some sort of active exhaust system before the y pipe to act as a muffler delete yet allow me...
I already have an MBRP Race catback exhaust on my car. So that would not yield the same result. UPDATE: Saw a post from the man himself, Adam from tune plus said a dp combined with the mbrp race catback is very rough on drone and is very raspy on the top end. :( Sad to hear that.
