http://www.rdpstore.com/p-6772-afe-...ry-s-2015-ford-mustang-l4-v6-v8-31-10255.aspx Waiting for two of these to be delivered for no specific reason other than I may have an inquiring mind,:) I will do my own non-scientific comparison with our cars by:

- Taking the cars out at the same time to compare the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) with the stock filters.

- Compare the IAT with aFe filter installed in one car vs stock in the other.

- Compare throttle response, sound, etc...

The aFe will the first dry performance filter that we have owned. I've used the oiled filters in many of our cars and we still have one that is 15 years old with a 120K miles on it. (Love the filter, just don't like to clean it).
I wouldnt think the filter inside the airbox would have much change in AITs, however the wire mesh in the aftermarket filters could act as a heat sink and absorb the heat.

Either way I dont expect them to be too far apart, but am curious to see your findings.

I like the way you think! They are both future mods for me.

I have the dry AFe. Pretty happy with it. I like that its reusable and doesn't need to be oiled. I have mine paired with the Mishimoto intake tube and I noticed that this combo provides smoother flow to the engine.

I was looking through this thread and realized I still have the AEM Dryflow filter from my ecoboost with low miles on it. I compared it to the factory one and they look like the same size, is there any reason I couldn't use that one on the car?

I really think y'all are drinking the placebo kool-aid super hard when you think a slightly different drop-in filter is going to put your car into a new league of performance "between normal and sport"

You'll probably gain more discernable power by taking a decent sized crap before you get in the car :D
