Is this meant more for drag racing? What are the benefits other than wheel fitment?

Yes, and probably lighter weight too. Here is the product description:

A lot more to it than just swapping the knuckle, but it seems like this is for the hardcore drag guys that have drag brake kits and also do everything they can to win their brackets.

Did I miss the price? Will this reuse s550 brakes or do I need s197 brakes?

Any dimensions on that 15*12.5" wheel? Is that a double beadlock or 15*10 with double beadlock?

What else is needed to run these? The way you are describing them, you just throw these on and run 15's and I find that hard to believe.

I don't get why vendors aren't allowed to at least link to the product page on these announcement posts, would clear up questions for everyone that can't google:

they are running a 15x11.5 beadlock which measrues, 15x12.5, we are running a 15x11" beadlock which measure 15x12 on our car. we just finihsed up a new part # with baer today as well. so you can run your oem brake calipers with s197 rotors, or baer now has an offering specific to our knuckle kit

ask and ye shall receive. backspace is 15x8.75, but we needed a small spacer, as they shorted me on the back pad a little bit, so about 8.5 on my car, new wheels would be 8.75 if your ordering

and, the beautiful thing is, i'm running a +.2 camber, vs the 15x9 setups where you have to run a -1 to -1.5 to get the wheel to not hit, so on launch, all the tire plants IMG_2484.jpg IMG_2498.jpg IMG_2510.jpg
