let me know what happens with this! I would be interested in pursuing the same type of thing.

Have you tried taking it to another dealer or called Ford directly? Every state has different criteria for Lemon Law and you should check yours.

Any time I have dealt with the dealer I bought my car from I have been either hung up on or been told to calm down and lose the attitude. I spent 36k on a new car. sorry I wanted it to be "perfect". Shouldn't something be perfect that you spend that much money on? as a consumer I expect the best product. so now my 2015 Mustang Gt with 500 miles has touch up paint covering up something that shouldn't have even been a problem in the first place. I was already asked by someone if I'd been in an accident because it looks like the front right fender is not fitted all that well. FUUUUCK.

edit - another thing that annoyed me..i dropped the car off with 419 miles for "service" to have the door and fender aligned. my MPG calculator had 17.2 MPG. when i picked it up there was 463 miles on the car and the MPG was down to 15.2. i asked where the body shop was and was told ten miles away. so for 20 miles my car was hammered on by some service tech out for a joyride. WTF. begs the question of what about the other 24 miles that "appeared" on the clock? when asked i was told by Service manager "my employees do not take cars for joyrides." i had pics to support my argument(taken when i dropped car off) and was told i was wrong. haha. going to an indy from now on. Fuck Ford.

i had to file two formal complaints against two separate car dealerships in my area.

One took a deposit on a car and told me theyd call me in a few days when it arrives. 4 days later they called and said ooooh whoopsie, were not sure what happened but we dont have your car and we cant get it.

2nd car dealership did the exact same thing only without taking a deposit first. In all I waited over 4 weeks thinking I had a car coming to me.

The worst part was when the second dealership finally found the car that was supposedly in transit to them, I immediately called the dealership which was like 30 minutes away and asked about the VIN. They said they had it but someone was writing up paper work on it as we spoke and was paying cash. FML.

Finally searched on my own using the ford build your own mustang feature/website/thing and searched 4 states until I found the exact one in Arizona.

Bought the car from Cali and had it shipped w/o ever being there in person.

I had an absolutely nightmare experience with my dealerships in the area and afraid to even get work done at any dealers in the area bc they cant really be trusted.

it went something like me calling and asking if they've had problems with the door rubbing on the fender because mine was. then after talking to him for a few minutes, he said it doesn't sound like a warranty problem but bring it in and we will look and see.

I know this is fairy old, and hopefully you have your car is perfect nick now.
But reading the above, they never refused to look at the car, they told you to bring it in, and they would see. he said "it doesn't sound like a warranty problem but bring it in and we will look and see" then you said BS to him. Cause you put their backs up. Why did you not take it to the dealer than if they refused have a go at them, face to face. with other customers there. I have found out that the best way to get anything done is to go back somewhere when the place is busy, then start shouting, No One likes Bad Publicity, They would not have told you to F Off to your face

I did being the car there. Left it for about 3 days while they gave me a shitty loaner car from enterprise. They fixed the panel alignment but refused to paint. 1 year later it still is not painted. Many visits later. if anything, I will never buy a ford again because I have not received quality service and have had nothing but problems with Ford dealerships.
