Does anyone know what the fastest adhesive I could use for hard Styrofoam? I'm attaching fake wood beams to a metal ceiling and want something in a tube that I can use in a caulking gun? I most likely will have to hold them up in place till it sets. I've tried the HD construction Glue gun adhesive, but when it gets hot out the glue melts and you know what happens next.

Not sure what the weight is of your foam beams, but I would brace it till it sets. There both very good products. There pretty much interchangeable. It comes down to availability most times. Here currently its hit and miss which brand is available.

I assume the beams weigh about 5lbs each. So as far as better "initial grip" either one is about the same. The inside is hollow. The edge on either side going up to ceiling is 1 inch wide
