Oh man...That sucks!! I havenā€™t watched the weather to see whatā€™s coming my way... not looking forward to it though. Very true! The only thing sheā€™s covered in is a car cover..lol

I know this an old thread hoss but Iā€™d like to know something.. I already got the mycolor function on my stang however Iā€™d like to install another led right into the door storage compartment the same way you did it, and will buy the same wire you bought.
So my question is would it be a plug and play for me since I already have the mycolor option or would need cut wires etc.. sure Iā€™ll drill a glory hole into my door panel šŸ˜… but not willing to cut wires and stuff. The wire you bought has two leds right? The way I see it is to replace the factory wire with it, and use the second led on the door storage compartment.

So short answer, itā€™s not plug and play. You will have to tap into the existing wires in the door near the door handle. Buy some T-Tap connectors which are very easy to use and self-explanatory once you see them.

If you buy the appropriate plug male and female, you can make a plug-and-play solution from it.
