Well I decided to get a little more aggressive this morning. Normally when engaging is spirited driving I just shift as soon as my gauges turn red, which is at 6500. Today I held her until it just quit pulling. Rev limiter is set to 7000. It hit that mark and just held it there.

Actual redline... as in after you change the opportunity and the intake?
Probably ar I understand 8,000 isn't it?
Change the opportunity and intake? What do you mean by that? Changing the opportunity (whatever that is) and the intake allows you to take it to higher RPM? I could see better air flow so it will actually make more power in the higher RPM range instead of petering out, but that doesn't help the bottom end of the engine any.
