AC hose crimp failures

After losing the AC in my 2017 GT350 (build date 6/21/16), my servicing dealer found refrigerant leaks in both the high pressure and vacuum lines, at crimps in both cases. Props to Elder Ford Tampa for chasing the problem down (one larger leak, and a second "weep" that didn't reveal itself until the first line had been replaced). They also know how to remove and correctly replace a front splitter center section. All's cool now!

This elite team was assigned to check all GT350 hoses for proper crimpage... having a difficult time finding the hoses in the car so they just decided they will press some buttons and look around. :doh:

Thanks for the post. I have the EXACT same issue. Will have it done same time as oil cooler hoses.
