My AC compressor clutch is seized and I'm 3 months out of warranty.

Anyone on here replace this themselves? Did you replace just the clutch or the entire compressor?

Thanks!

Did one on my sons old Acura rsx. Was a pain because there was no room. Ended up loosening the compressor bolts to get the clutch off.
Seems the stang has a few inches in front of compressor that might make removal a bit easier. Definitely a much cheaper route. Compressors very rarely go bad, 9 times out of 10 it’s the clutches that burn up.

Or just buy a compressor and take it to a local shop and have it installed. I did it with my old crv, cost me about $225 for installation about a year ago at a local shop. Here is the compressor you need and it comes with a 1yr warranty same as factory. Of course a clutch is less than half the price if your willing to change it.
