I have a 2016 ecoboost premium convertible. I have been having an issue with the AC blowing scalding hot when the car is first started on a hot day. The cold air will finally start to blow cold after 1 -2 minutes of blowing hot. It has been to the dealer a couple times and they continue to say everything is fine. The problem only happens the first time car is started for the day. Every other start it blows cold right away. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Its evacuating all the hot air that is present in the vents. It also takes a bit for the compressor to get going full bore and the condenser to cool . 1-2 mins seems a tiny bit long but as long as it blows cold after, it is good. Super hot days require more time.

1-2 minutes seems long. Maybe you are low on freon?

I also have a F-150 - The AC blows cold within 10 seconds and the same on all other cars I have owned. The Mustang is the only car that I have ever owned where the AC would blow how for such an extended time. Its not a matter of clearing the hot air from the vents. It blows super hot and then after a minute or 2 the air will turn cold. Freon was checked and was found to be OK. Seems like it takes way to long for compressor to build up to correct pressure.

The Mustangs have been reported to have some known condenser issues...

Either that or a stuck blend door.
I actually don't know how the heater is controlled on the Mustang but I remember my BMW has a water heater valve that controls coolant flowing into the heater coil. It was bad and the car would blow hot air regardless what my AC setting is.

I can't stand the 10 seconds after start up to get the fans blowing up to speed on Max. At 100 + degrees, that 10 seconds is an eternity.

I'm not sure exactly how long it takes but my car seems to take longer to blow cold air on startup than pretty much any other car I get in regularly Lol...

What I do is just turn the temp knob to the left to turn on Max AC then when I feel cold air, I switch off Max AC.. I don't think it takes more than a minute.. maybe 30 seconds max.

My engine completely shuts down when I hit the Start/Stop button.

My tires loose air pressure on cold days but regain pressure on warm days

My windows fog up and it takes a little bit to defog them

I keep loosing gas while driving around

Really you'd think Ford could fix these "problems"

Your car is hot, your in Ocala. It needs to warm up some and get the ac going.

And i cant seem to see the passenger hood vent turn signal...
Seems like a legit concern to me. Does it take a minute or 2 before your cars start blowing cold air? Mine is less than 10 seconds. I'd be thinking something is wrong too if it took minutes

I rarely see above 85f, but only takes seconds for cold air. Can't imagine 2 minutes of hot air before it starts to blow cold is normal - regardless of the temp.
