Signing paperwork today! Spliter, Gurney flap, and camber plates are in the trunk. Reliable is scheduled to pick her up Monday. Now for the long wait.....1 - 3 weeks based on driver route but at least she's enclosed.

Anything I'm missing? Or anything else that should be with the car? There was no cover on my window sticker.
Congratulations!!

Ask the salesperson to send you a video of a S L O W walk around including the front end from all angles, impact areas, rear end from all angles, interior from all angles and odometer before it’s picked up by the transport.

+2. I wouldn't trust any transport company with my car for only 1K miles to drive home. Buy in person and drive car home, this way you know her better and faster with the proper break-in in one shot.

Don’t let the internet scare you. Do you know how many thousands of 350s were made? Me either but it’s a lot lol. For the most part they are solid cars.

So, I got a line on my dream 350 well under MSRP (TO w/black stripes, Recaros, Handling pack, Tech pack, CF dash).

I've been scaring myself with all the VooDoo implosion threads. The car only has 7 miles on the ODO so I don't think it could be too abused. My real concern is if it's preventable wit proper break-in or are the 2020s just crapping valves like it's their job?

Also, I have to purchase virtually and have it shipped as it's 1,000 miles away if anyone can recommend a reliable company that's not crazy expensive (hoping to keep it under $1k).
Mine had about 1,875 miles at engine failure, and it died with the car stopped and the engine at idle. It was gently broke in. It had 5 miles when delivered, and on the 450 mile freeway trip home from the dealer I varied speed from 50 - 80, keeping engine speed from 2,000 to 5,000, and never pushing it hard. (I got away with it without getting stopped because Covid had the freeway pretty empty). For the next 1,400 miles I kept engine speed above 2,000 rpm and below 6,000, and still never pushed it hard. I was going to consider it broken in at 2,000 miles and get an oil change at my local Ford dealer. I attached a photo of my No. 7 intake runner. You can see the broken valve stem in the right bore, and just the edge of the valve face at the top of the intake runner. Also, note the chip out of the left side of the end of the valve guide. My guess is that valve retainer let go, dropping the whole valve into the cylinder, and the valve stem then crunched as the piston came up. Or, it could have broke the stem just below the retainer.

Why don't you consider flying one-way and drive it home? It would be a great way to get 1,000 miles under your belt quickly if you can take the time to do it, and if you don't mind putting the miles on the car.

I have L0197. Most fun car I have driven. I never get tired of it. Lucky my local dealer had it, got it for under MSRP. It had a black roof and no stripes. Added stripes, PPF on front half, side mirrors, doors and front lower of rear quarters. They pick up chips there. Swapped P2s for Michelin SSs. Broke it in as manual said. Never over 4 grand till after 1,000. Changed oil at 2,500 at dealer. They have a nice setup for Shelbys and Ford GT. Treated it with white gloves. Drive it daily in Sport mode and couldn’t be happier.

This wait is going to blow but it has given me time to shop! Rokblokz, FRPP separators, and a MGW on the way!

In a situation very similar to the OP I'm thinking of picking up a GT350 as my retirement present. There's some new '19s and '20s at nearby dealers but also some very low mile pre-owned '18-'19s. The pre-owned prices are tempting and most have clean Carfax reports but no matter how I dig I can't find if they are perhaps cars that had engine issues. Is there a way to check or should I just pay more and get a new one?

My 2 cents, unless your getting a good deal on a pre owned, I would spend a little extra and get one brand new. You have no idea how a pre owned car was driven or broken in and if you keep your cars for a long time that’s even more important. I plan on getting an extended warranty so I have no worries especially with the higher than normal amount of engine failures.

I found the exact model I wanted on cars.com and it was well under MSRP. So much so that I added a 10 year/70,000 BTB warranty and still came out under.

Have you checked out the Rokblokz install instructions? Do they use double sided tape like some of the other, similar products?

Yes. I had the other brand on my GT and replaced them with Rokblokz. 100% better product with a much better attachment mechanism.
