I'm posting this here, I'm hoping it doesn't get bumped, because some of you guys are quite intelligent and really do your research in this side of the forum.
I've seen many videos on the "18 refresh" and I keep hearing totally redesigned A pillar forward. When I bought my 350 that was a term I also heard a lot. The GT 350 was redesigned A pillar forward of the standard Mustang GT. So are the new 18 refresh Mustangs virtually identical as our 350's? Especially with the Magna Ride being a option on the PP Mustangs?
I haven't seen nor do I think any dimensions have been released yet, just very curious and I haven't seen anyone bring it up yet.

The 18's look nothing like the GT350. There are lots of photos and videos of it.

I know they look nothing alike sheet metal wise but are they going to the same unibody design up front? Wider stance up front like the 350. From my understanding the 350 was 1.5 inches wider up front.? Or is the refresh just sheet metal?

No. These are GT350 specific

Ford dropped the nose on the '18 a good inch when compared to the '17, so that would require "new everything" (i.e. sheet metal and supports) from the A pillar forward.

The front sheet metal is wider on the gt350 because of the wider track of the front wheels. This is due to the suspension and knuckle. I would assume that there isn't much difference between 17 and 18 suspension geometry on the mustang gt. Also that might be a question the auto show person wouldn't know

Th hood was lowered about an inch and you do no need "new everything" (fender aprons are the same.). There are no modification to the knuckle as it still has the same track as a standard S550.

I'm thinking the 18 refresh is closer to our 350's than we think up front. I was thinking it was just cosmetic and sheet metal until I seen the front end dropped an inch. I wouldn't be surprised to see a carbon fiber front tie bar on the 18 refresh.
Couple that with Mag Ride, sorry for the "magna" pretty sure the phone did that, I bet handling is getting pretty close to a 350 .

Dropping the hood line is achieved just sheet metal. Easily comparable in pictures and the track is the same as the base S550.
