In addition to the size of the lug nut, the seats may not be the same from wheel to wheel. My incoming wheels are different than stock.

I think there incorrect, if I need special ones for there wheels, then it wouldn't be one that say they fit all 2015 Mustangs would it?

Not necessarily.

For example, Tire Rack will tell you the wheels fit even if they need new lug nuts; however, if you need new lug nuts Tire Rack will just include them for free.

I had to buy spline drive, thin walled lugs for my new wheels.

Might find them cheaper somewhere else but these work fine for me. DO NOT get 2 inch ones they will stick out too far.
