Definitely possible. Juic3d went 8.6x on a TT stock early coyote motor and stock trans with converter. Granted it was with SRA and 36xxlbs but the IRS stangs are hooking pretty well. I am hearing that on a good tune the cylinder bores may be the weak link if you don't grenade oil pump or timing gears.

The only other stock long block motor as of the past couple years to make it run 8s was evolutions 13-14 gt500 (tuned by lund if i recall correctly) other then juiced coyote. Coyotes like a booooosssss
