so, quick math, could be wrong. your pistons are moving at an average relative speed of 60mph, with a max velocity somewhere north of 100 mph, less than 120mph. could get an exact number if I knew the rod length, or felt like looking it up.

stroke is 3.66". My back of the napkin math puts it at about 28MPH at 4,000RPM. 60MPH would be around redline.

well, he did say at 8250, which is redline. that is just the average though, it would be higher mid stroke, and of course almost 0 at TDC and BDC.

but to get the exact speed at mid stroke, or any point, you need to know the rod length as well.
