6R80 roll race tunes

It is now possible to get roll race tune for the 6R80 trans. In sport mode you can paddle to the gear you want and it will shift under WOT before it hits the rev limiter. This is with HP Tuners. Ask your tuner, it's under trans> general> upshift

This can be done on any mapping software can't it? Most of us choose the gear, go WOT when ready, and slap the shifter in D mid pull. (assuming the tuner calibrated the tranny tables in D mode)

Now you don't have to hit drive. It will shift in sport mode.

Guess it depends on what mode the tuner decides to manipulate though. PBD/Lund alters the D mode tables. Shaun Perry alters S mode (select shift) for maximum performance.
