$60,-...Does it make any sense ?

Looking for all kind of mods and improvements for my long awaited ecoboost. (already in : other front grill, other rear decklid, Shift Knob, FR axleback exhaust)
Does a High FLow air filter from K&N or Cobb make any sense?
Will it be a well invested $60,- ?

Personally i wouldn't but thats me....I would put that $60 towards something else

I would save that money and do something a little more substantial, like a CAI or catback exhaust.

Thanks. I can see by your waist list you've been into some research and fine tuning ..:clap2:
The High flow air filter doesn't make any sense because you've chosen the MAP CAI or simply because it will not bring any change....to Power, MPG, better air flow compared to stock ?
I'm not considering a CAI. What I will add is the Ford tune and probably a Mishimoto or ATM Intercooler.

To me, a handful of hp is not worth the substandard filtration provided by oiled fabric filters. I'll never use anything but a paper filter or powercore.

It's not going to destroy your car but the idea of it really bothers me.

Agreed, I am also not looking for a CAI so I simply went with the High Flow filter.

as far as a filter goes. this filter rocks. I have the same thing straight from japan in my LEXUS IS300. I have been running it for a long time. my Filtration is superb and the filter doesn't restrict anything. it flows nice.

do i think it gives me a bunch of horse power.. no.... but i i like to be able to clean it my self and reinstall as well as the fact that it is much thinner so I feel like it may do something for a little throttle feel maybe.

If no CAI, the green filter is the way to go

Problem is the tune I am looking for isn't avalaible yet....: Ford Racing
Will of course have to see what it will bring in HP compared to Cobb and what will be the exact feedback on Ford overall warranty. Might still switch back to Cobb if warranty conditions are similar in the end.

I'll add this 'green' one to my next overseas mod order.
Also looking for dash panel with gauges (once I found a confirmation connectors will be present in EU cars as well)

I think you should never have a turbo car without a catch can so it should be #1

Springs a are personal preference so up to you but i believe in CAI's for Number 5.

What IC do you recommend that isn't to expensive? I know they can get up there in price depending on size

I'm most likely going with Levels, Big core, angled endtanks for flow and best price.
