5star tuning question

Is any one here currently running a 5star tune on there mustang. All I can seem to find is truck and ecoboost mustang tuned by 5star. Not many Gt’s and yes I know f150 have coyotes.

There is a guy in my car club that has a 17 GT and runs their tune. He loves it after they made one revision to the initial tune. I went to the Mustang National Show in Florence, SC last year and 5 Star was there tuning cars. They tried to get me to let them tune mine, but I was still under the Roush warranty. Shrader in Gastonia, NC is supposedly pretty good also. I don't have any personal dealings with either of the tuners I named.

Good to hear cause I’m up in the air, between which tuner I want to use hypermotive with a Ortiz tune or 5star tuning.

I would suggest calling both and talking to them about what you have in mind for power gains and if you plan to do any other modifications.

Have had a few of their tunes on trucks with no problems, put one on my ranger with the 2.3 EB and was very disappointed with shifting and fuel milage, I would probably go elsewhere

Yea I have talk to a few folks and looks like I’m gonna go to hypermotive performance it’s closer and that offer Ortiz,Lund,&juggernaut tunes And the fact that my NGUAGE can still be used is a big plus

Although I have not used them personally, I would say that the majority of feedback I see and hear is positive!
