50% tint, anyone do it?

My wife and I had 50% on the front windows on our Hondas when we had them, 35% on the rear windows. We had no issues with the law. 50% can appear darker (like any tint) based on the angle and lighting conditions. I hope this helps.

I know you asked for 50% but at least you have something to go off of. I have my X5 tinted with 3M ColorStable CS35 on my front windows, which is equivalent to 39% visible light transmission. Hope this helps!

It does. I prefer the look of the 50% over the 35% and outward vision day and night is important to me. I really need to find someone with 50% tint and sit in their vehicle.

50% front, and 5% sides

50% is barely noticeable, will show a good amount of reflection if it is bright enough outside
