Don't use wd40.. Use goo gone.
As stated above, use Goo Gone as it works a lot better. Use a little bit more heat (longer exposure) makes the badges come out cleaner without leaving too much of the sticky tape.

Our gloss ones do not have the pins. Only the Flat ones do. On this forum, we do have a template we made for the 2.3T emblem which will work for the 5.0's too

Ill see about getting one on our website so anyone can print it off for alignment.
Billet emblems coming soon?

I'm going to be putting on your gloss 5.0 badges today. I can't seem to find your templates. Can you point me in the right direction?

I found that boxing the original emblems off with painter's tape is the most accurate way. I don't know if you already started or not, but this worked flawlessly:

How hard was removing all the adhesive? Did you just use goo gone within the painters tape?

I did the same method. I'm not sure which order he used but I pulled the emblem, goo gone the sticky off, then take the old 5.0 emblem and put it back in place and tape it off, alcohol wipe the area then install the new emblem. I didn't put the tape on first so the goo gone didn't soak into the tape and cause it to shift or move on me on the new emblem install.
