I am curious how they compare to 2011-2014 Brembo package brakes - they look nearly identical...and did Brembo ACTUALLY manufacture the calipers in 2011-14, or was it simply brand licensing with a company such as Continental doing the actual manufacturing?

That would be my bet. I have an auto trans car so I but the Brembos on after I got the car and the 4 piston are too much like the six not to be from the same vendor.

The dust cover for the base model eb should work with the 14in rotors right? It's gonna be a tight squeeze with these rotors, the 18in foundrys have barely any room with base eb brakes on.

Yes the dust cover from the base model works fine and work great with the 18" Foundry wheels. Very easy install as well. Highly recommend.

Located in Union county. The rotor and calipers will be a direct replacement right? Or do I need to buy other parts to hook everything up?
My understanding is yes it is a direct replacement....suggested the brake lines as it was suggested to me. Also the one thing is the master cylinder which I have heard yes and no. But is not that expensive 70 bucks ish to do it right.

PS thanks for the comparison pics David. They look soooo much better along with better performance.

My previous car had the 2013/2014 gt 500 6 piston brembos with the 15 inch rotors. My new non pp car has the 4 piston calipers and 14 inch rotors. My 6 pistons were no doubt stronger, and 4 piston brakes are very good breaks. I noticed in comparing the caliper sizes of the 2 side by side the look identical in size. Did anyone else notice this!

Guys I have more questions. First I picked up prestone synthetic dot 4 brake fluid is that ok to use instead of the motorcaft? Also I got the calipers and rotors I can't believe how big they are. I see the picture of the rotor above is that the one that came with the base model car or the 14 in base gt rotors? The ones I received are not the same as the pic above. But the ones in the pic above look like the ones already on my car with the regular base calipers. Do they have different types of 14in rotors? the 14in I ordered, the vents that go through the rotor are sealed off by the hub if that makes sense. In the pic above you can see they go all the way through for better cooling like the base model ones I already have on the car. I don't know how to upload pics so I hope you understand what I'm saying. Are you using the 14in rotors or the ones that came with your car?

So I managed to install the front passenger caliper and rotor finally, holding off on the other one till tomorrow. While bleeding the brakes I didn't have the right size wrench the turn the nut and it ended up being a real pain. Anyone know what size wrench to buy for those 2 bolts that let the brake fluid out on the caliper???
