Thanks for the suggestions. When tracked it will be road course. I would be more concerned with the heat if I went with turbos but I think supercharger/procharger should be fine with proper cooling mods.
Doesn’t matter. Forced induction via turbo or supercharger generates heat. Lots of heat. Just look at the extra cooling Ford had to add to put together the new GT500 and keep it going all day at the track like a N/A GT350 can. Don’t do forced induction for track unless you want to continue chasing down cooling issues.

I don’t know your track experience but I’ve seen guys who start tracking and then end up taking it more seriously than intended. Just would hate for you to spend money just to try and reverse it. Like others have mentioned you will be chasing several way to cool it especially for where you are located.
Look forward to what you decide to do.

I'm going to start with a bolt on setup for my 350R before most likely adding a Procharger. I may be missing a thing or two - list of everything is on a different computer.

Currently I have:

- ARH off road long system (headers & x pipe)
- JLT cold air intake
- Lund for tune
- Upgraded fuel injectors (FP)

Any recommended or key performance parts I should add to the list for the tune & car in general? Will be running primarily e85.

Other non tune related parts I have:

- MGW short shifter (gen 2) - ordered
- Steeda clutch spring
- JLT catch cans
- SRP race pedals
- Mcleod clutch line

The next big items on my list are some aero parts from Archetype Racing. Most likely a splitter & rear diffuser. Any other recommended parts in line with the ones mentioned above?

Cheers - will post pics / vids once the setup is complete in the next few weeks.

(car is mostly street driven - will start seeing the track more often late next year)
Don't forget an icetank in the trunk to cool things down. i would do it even before procharger or maybe consider a whipple. check my 9 sec setup @mustanghini5.0

With a parts list like that, for the cost you may just want to trade for a GT500!

It would be and would be a better track setup if they have to go with forced induction. Stuffing components to boost a GT350 and keep it running all day full 20 minute sessions on track with get very costly to obtain and still fall short in the 20 minute run on a hot day. There is a real reason the GT500 has that bass mouth grill and more weight in extra coolers added.

I couldn't give up the manual & other features that make a 350 a 350. I'm mainly interested in street fun for now and it looks like boost accomplishes that with little to no issue. If I got serious about tracking I would probably remove any forced induction and just go from there.

F/I is still up in the air for me that wouldn't be till down the road.
