I found a dealer who had a stock ordered car exactly, save for color as mine. It was, still showing awaiting shipment. But I called them and asked for the ship weight on the invoice. My understanding is they shouldn't have had an invoice unless they literally just got the email from Ford. So I ask for the ship weight and the answer I get is 3420. I laugh and explain that seems a little low. I am then told well the '15's are lighter than the '14's.
My invoice for my '14 lists the weight at 3520. The '15 is optioned exactly the same way. 300A (TP)PP/Recaro's. So either the content in the loaded test Mustangs is very heavy and the fuel tank is chock full with high specific gravity gasoline or someone's lying.
This week I will remain I realistically hopeful even though I know the information provided is false. :headbonk:
I wanted invoiced ship weights because they should be a decent gauge as to where these cars compare to the 14's.
