They'll fit fine a lot of members rock those tires and those sizes even wider 315s
What have you heard about these MT Street Comp tires? Considering them as well as the Nitto NT555 G2.

Nitto is a much longer lasting tire. 40k with nittos maybe 30k with MTs. Traction wise they are similar. MTs are significantly cheaper.

The NT555G2 would be a much more longer lasting tire then the M/T because of the compound.

Looking to get some new wheels and am considering this size rear tire. Tires are MT Sport Comps.

wheels 20x8.5 255/35/20 27.03 tall and 20x10 305/35/20 28.41 tall

That rear tire is an inch taller than stock. What are the negatives? A buddy mentioned it will look too big?

Was considering the same setup in 19s but this shop doesnt carry the proper front tire setup and for some reason 20s are a lot cheaper overall.

I was always against 20s for the s197s but the s550 20s see to look good on them.
I have the these tire sizes on my car with no issues.

MT Sport comps on the front and MT ET Street Drag radials on the back.

The rear's are a tight fit, but work 100% fine.

I thought the MT Street Comp was just a regular summer tire. Wouldn't the compound be very similar to the Nitto G2?

They are yes but we also look at treadwear

NT555G2 tires would last longer then the M/T because of that, Of course depending on everyones driving style.
