Looking to upgrade my premium 9 speaker setup with an active setup. Does anyone have any recommended speakers that are somewhat affordable and that fit without too much modifications?

Going to power the system with an AudioControl LC-6.1200.

TIA

Hertz mille legend or mille pro series.Kick in a few extra bux and get the Helix P-Six.It will give you time alignment and EQ adjustments that are very important.Focals are nice and sweet in the midrange, but the tweets can be a touch rough. The Hertz are smooth at any volume with good clean power, and I crank em up...lol

$1400 minus the $700 he is about to spend is $700.What is going to happen is he will get it installed and running and say,"It sounds good, but it's missing something".
"I just can not seem to get it tuned correctly"
The time alignment and having a EQ are very important when running an active setup.
Now he goes and spends another $700 for a DSP,find a place to mount it and wire to and from it.I just suggested the Helix,as the german build quality and the software are excellent.
I am sure that there are other amps that have a dsp built in that may be cheaper.

Helix gear is worth every penny. Ran all Helix competition amps and the eight channel DSP in my last ride and it was awesome. Liked the gear so much I still have it for a second car if I pick one up.

If you are going to bypass the factory amp, and use a new DSP, look for raw drivers so you don’t waste money on the external crossover you won’t use.
