I ended up keeping my manual trans 3.31 gears after getting the fp tune. Imho now the car really becomes fun at 2k rpm, so why spend money trying to make it come alive from a stop? Plus dealer quoted me 1k for 3.55 gear install yikes. Also like the fuel economy, usable first gear, and with the tune I can actually pull pretty strongly over 70mph in 6.
Anyone wanna buy an unused 3.55 fp ring and pinion??

Drove a manual non performance pack and a performance pack EB back to back when I got mine. By far the cheapest way to get a lot of these mods. Breaks, springs and sway bars (body roll/nose dive), and the 3.55 gears in the dif. All of the performance was noticeable in their respective areas. To the comments about 3.31 being a hair faster... with the 3.55 you have to shift to 3rd to get to 60. For any kind of auto cross or daily driving the extra pull in each gear helps. As for mpg these are small engine turbo cars with modest weight and you will see a hit around town but I have taken mine on an 800 mile road trip and averaged 30mpg.

Now I have the FP tune on my car and it puts a smile on my face every pull. Sure I wish I had the coin to go to a GT, but besides the cool sound an some random comment about "should have got a V8", I love this car. Its very capable, enough power that you have to respect it or it bites you and its enjoyable to have fun in.

I have a 2019 gt with 3.55.

I wish I had the 3.31 as I view my car more of a grand tourer than a track car. Not to mention the mpg gains. And also my oem tire 255/40r19 setup have the smallest rolling diameter of all s550 tire-wheel combo at 27". Base have 27.3" and PP wheel/tire is at 27.7" rolling diameter.

Now that I read here that changing the diff can be expensive, I think I'll just move up to a meatier tire at 255/45r19 (28") in due time.
