Two weeks ago I finally saw Guard in person at a local dealership. Loved it just as I expected to. While there my daughter was really taken by another 2015 Mustang in Deep Impact Blue and (as only an 11 year-old can) began telling me I should have ordered a blue one. I brushed it off as I've been waiting on another dark green GT convertible since I sold my 2000 model oh so long ago (which I also special ordered back in the day).

The problem is her words are now haunting me. The blue was really good looking. I've never owned a blue car, and this will be my third dark green Mustang. Is it time for something new? Was the DIB better looking than Guard?

I think the waiting is starting to eat away my sanity, or at least my judgement.

It's a preference. I'm sure she picks out a lot more pink clothes than you do, right? Go with your first choice as if you change now you will forever be haunted every time you see a guard convertible. Of course your daughter probably has a more hip taste when it comes to the color so if you want the kids in her class to think the car is cool, go with DIB. I am personally going for comp orange

Just get the blue and get it over with! :ford::clap2::headbang:

I kinda wish I saw the dib in person before I ordered the black... I love my black cars but that blue is nice!

The blue is beautiful. I almost switched from black to DIB but then I saw Guard and Magnetic in person. I opted for magnetic ultimately because I loved the way it changed color in the sun. Guard was a very close second followed by Blue.

Wait did you get your window sticker yet? If so it is too late to change that order.

the DIB really stands out... i can see why she was taken with it. the Guard is a lot more subtle. its all up to you, i think you will be thrilled either way.

Like Stoli, i went Black, out of reverence for my love for owning and caring for Black cars and i am finding myself completely un-jealous of any other car on the road of any other color.

DIB is the best color. You should buy it, no regrets!

Though I'm biased :)

I changed the color on my order no less than three times. It was a very difficult decision for me this time, and I definitely second guessed myself after each choice along the way.

What's funny is that the color I ultimately landed on is one I didn't even consider out of the gate. It took seeing it in person to win me over and seal the deal.

Anyway, I say go with your choice and not anyone else's. Go see DIB and Guard again - by yourself - and choose the one that makes you stare at the car in awe. I'd even look at some other colors if the opportunity exists.

I was considering the Magnetic or Guard, but seeing them in sunlight made me realize how dark the colors were, and how similar those two were to each other from some angles.

The blue looks outstanding, reminds my of my '04 GTO I had in Impulse Blue, not garish but different enough to catch the eye.

Then again, once my wife saw the CO and said she liked it, I was good to go.

I ordered GT Premium Auto CO, and after seeing all the pictures posted
that showed it as being almost red, I was thinking about changing color
but for one reason or another, never did. The other day I was standing
outside the Imperial Palace on the Las Vegas Strip and saw a CO at a
traffic light and said OMG--I am 72 & 8 mos old and have never said OMG
in my life--very happy that as I got older that I became lazy--real reason
I never went back to the dealer to change color.

Haven't seen Guard in person yet, and the pictures confuse the heck out of me, but DIB is a great color for this car. It looks beautiful in bright light.
