To the best of my knowledge (LOL)...There continues to be nothing but speculation. No official word. Order bank open dates for MY23 have been announced, that's it. Reading into the reference above, we should know if MY23 is 550 or 650 NLT September, when order guides are released.

On the one hand, MY23 will be a follow-on with the S550 and no variants, so Ford can focus on announcing and prepping for the production of the S650.

On the other hand, several continue to capture test mules of what should be the S650. If field testing is going good, does that mean a MY23 S650 is possible?

Lots of great ideas of what could happen, none of which have been confirmed.

I was on YouTube and saw a video by Stangmode at Ford Nationals and he kept showing off different S550’s as 2023’s. Obviously he’s just an enthusiast and not Ford official but it is peculiar. Could be clickbait, misinformed, or actually true.

Yeah '23 is going to be the last year for the S550. I'm guessing February or March we'll hear about the S650 more and more
