No it won’t do anything when you click Activate Vehicle. When you take delivery and click Activate Vehicle (while in the car with the car on) a code will appear on the screen in the car. You’ll have to enter that in your phone and that’s how it pairs the vehicle to your Ford Pass account.Totally with you.....even baby steps are appreciated...lol
Does it do anything when you click on the "Activate Vehicle"?
Yes they willI was told by my dealer that nonscheduled MY22 orders will automatically be transferred as MY23 order.
True story or just another bs excuse to keep my waiting?
Is that for US only orders?Yes they will
Ford usually does this in most countries, the only thing that can hold up the rollover is when a option is not available in the new year.Is that for US only orders?
How did you come to know that>
Nice to know. Thank you.Ford usually does this in most countries, the only thing that can hold up the rollover is when a option is not available in the new year.
Happened to me when I ordered a MY18 and it rolled over to a MY19, they also usually give this build a higher priority code![]()
Mine shifted to a 23 on Friday the 30th. Not sure if the dealer or Ford did it, but I went in and resigned the paperwork to agree on the specs and price. I have the exact same order #. Hope this helps?I was told by my dealer that nonscheduled MY22 orders will automatically be transferred as MY23 order.

Probably generated by the dealer. They can change anything on an order prior to it being scheduled. Let’s just hope for the best, again!Mine shifted to a 23 on Friday the 30th. Thanks, I will ask my dealer if there is anything to sign because I don't need another throwbackMine shifted to a 23 on Friday the 30th. Not sure if the dealer or Ford did it, but I went in and resigned the paperwork to agree on the specs and price. I have the exact same order #. Hope this helps?
If it’s built, you’re going to have it in a few weeks. Congrats! In production is the last place you want to bejust got email that says my 22 EB was "built", and "awaiting shipping"
dealer told me the other day it was "on the way expected 10/1-10/5". So I would assume that window is shot, based on reading this thread and since mine is by rail, I would infer that ETA is probably closer to November.
Secondly, I had planned a vacation to the beach around my birthday which was later in October; hoping this car would show up. I actually planned it last year. But Ian wiped out everything, and now that vacation (which is already paid for) is also out the window. Yay. What a wonderful "year".
Oh well....been driving a beater for a good minute while the truck is broken, what's another month? Or two? Or three? Who knows. They keep saying one thing and can't follow through with anything so there really is no telling when....or "IF"....it'll show up.
My boss owns a ford dealer, but that dealer is a long way off, I should have ordered from them rather than the local dealer. If there is a next time (doubtful), I certainly will.
Mine has been built since late August and still not released to the shipper. No chip holds or anything. Cross your fingers. If it’s built, you’re going to have it in a few weeks. Congrats! In production is the last place you want to be
