Can’t keep up with Ford’s changes. Got the “built” update yesterday with an email and new eta delivery. Now it already switched at some point today to shipped lol. Either way hopefully coming very soon!
Can others please tell me how long it took for your car to get to you once it showed “shipped” on the tracker?

It all feels like chance. It's been four weeks for me and my original delivery window has come and gone. Seems like a big part of it is which part of the country you live which dictates which yard/rail carrier you get and if the trucks at the end of the line are plentiful or if your car missed the last load for the week etc etc etc. Some guys are getting delivered before their window and some guys have had to wait so long that they've given up and bought other cars. I do hope yours is in that former category!

Definitely feels like chance. Tomorrow's the end of my first delivery window and I've not heard anything or seen a status change - and that's just by convoy to central VA, not even rail.

Everyone who has Convoy on their sticker should probably give this a read. Unless you're close to Flat Rock, chances are that you're car is going to go by convoy, then rail, then convoy to your dealer. Convoy vs rail seems to only tell you how it's going to leave Flat Rock, not the mode by which the whole trip will be accomplished.

Mine coming to south eastern VA says Rail. Blend date is still a few days away. But I am hoping you get yours soon.

I will not say that's almost over. It's an export version to Italy.
This means that it will make Flat Rock (MI) -> Newark (NJ, where it's prepared for shipping) -> Some ship -> Somewhere in Europe, customs -> Possibly multiple kind of transportations (through many states) to my dealer -> me.

Just keep me in your prayers.

Man that does not sound good lol. I really hope you get yours soon. Looks like our wait is almost over... Thank you I appreciate that, I'm on the west coast in Commiefornia. It says mine is coming by rail and I've seen people have better luck for rail compared to convoy so maybe I'm in luck. Thankfully my dealership is one of the biggest ones in the country (Galpin) so maybe they are able to pull some strings lol.

I'm just a guy on the Internet, but I'd guess it's just shipping delays. Shipping things just seems to be very hard these days.

I know, it's just that it's been sitting there a month already. And, my dealership had a stock GT sitting on the same ramp as mine that was just delivered. Just makes me wonder.

Thanks for your input, my guess is I'll have to wait until spring at this point to have any fun with it.

I'm in the same boat. Mine was built a month ago and as far as I can tell it's still in Flat Rock.

Two months is the estimate I got for my vehicle reaching the other side of the world... That's peculiar at least. If there was the possibility to just go and pick it up I bet you would have already took it by now.

Really sorry for that.

Do you have any way to escalate this at your dealer or with Ford? Thanks, and yes, I'm stopping at my dealer after work today. They're going to get an earful, although I doubt it will change anything. Sucks extra bad because this was my retirement/surviving cancer gift to myself.
