Had the exact same thing happen to me. I placed a new order after my original dealer tried playing games. The new dealer unfortunately also forgot to add B&O (oddly enough, the build price is the same as the dealers built xplan price, despite the online builder showing “$0” for the B&O feature. They also forgot to add my email to the order. I’ve been bugging them yesterday and today but I haven’t received anything. I was worried the order wasn’t even placed (and the custom order rebate expired yesterday). Thankfully Ford Performance chat confirmed the order was placed technically on 7/31, updated on 8/1 for B&O, but no email was attached.I got the confirmation email from Ford. Thanks guys. feeling better about it all now.
ya, I went in with my print out of the build and they copied it. BUT when he copied it he only selected the options that where showing a dollar amount. at the end we could not figure out why the online build and the one the dealer did was just over $1000 less than what I had come up with. it bugged me and I kept looking over the paperwork and redoing the build and eventually figured out that b&o was not adding an amount to the total. the new build "am/fm single cd and HD radio $995.00" and right below it "B&O sound system, 12 spkr $0" careful of that guys. If i had not caught it, it would have been a deal breaker for me too. I did not mention above, mine is also a 401. I hope i get as lucky as you and mine is built soon.
update for anyone who saw my earlier post. I have now received my email order confirmation from fomoco. I still don't have have an order number. The dealer told me my order was approved on 7/14. which would be the day after i made them add the B&O, so I guess it looks good for now.
I called the sales person/internet manager again today, and he said they will check it. Still nothing. They’ve been really positive (way better than the last dealer), but all of a sudden they are not taking my issue with the email seriously at all lol. Just curious, after the dealer did update the order/add your email, how soon did you get the order confirmation email?
