I got the confirmation email from Ford. Thanks guys. feeling better about it all now.

ya, I went in with my print out of the build and they copied it. BUT when he copied it he only selected the options that where showing a dollar amount. at the end we could not figure out why the online build and the one the dealer did was just over $1000 less than what I had come up with. it bugged me and I kept looking over the paperwork and redoing the build and eventually figured out that b&o was not adding an amount to the total. the new build "am/fm single cd and HD radio $995.00" and right below it "B&O sound system, 12 spkr $0" careful of that guys. If i had not caught it, it would have been a deal breaker for me too. I did not mention above, mine is also a 401. I hope i get as lucky as you and mine is built soon.

update for anyone who saw my earlier post. I have now received my email order confirmation from fomoco. I still don't have have an order number. The dealer told me my order was approved on 7/14. which would be the day after i made them add the B&O, so I guess it looks good for now.

My situation was similar to you, and I didn't get a confirmation email. After I gave my dealer my email address, I eventually got the order scheduled email and today I got the built email.

So I'd say you wont be getting the order confirmation, that ship has sailed

I ordered mine on 6/4, got a build date 4 weeks later, and now have a blend date for 8/8 according to the window sticker. That's two months from order to blend, plus another 2-3 weeks for delivery and inspection.

So your window sticker displayed at last? I'm scheduled your same day (as per my dealer and Ford Performance chat) but no sticker for me.

I had my dealer send me a screenshot of the WBDO (formerly DORA) to confirm it was/wasn’t included, then I called him today to try and follow up on getting that corrected when I saw it was missing. He mumbled something like “could have sworn it was part of a package” and I flat out told him this is a known issue and the WBDO is $1000 less than the build sheet! Do the math, my man.

Really hoping I (and everyone else here) can get some form of confirmation that they connected with Ford to make that change before my build date is assigned and things begin moving, or I’ll be royally PO’d since I WARNED THEM about this and it happened anyway, ugh.

Ask them to send you an updated Order Preview. I first reached out on 7/31, they eventually said they were too busy and would get it done the next day (8/1). I immediately noticed the error, and let them know, and they sent me another email with two order previews, one dated 7/31 without B&O, and one dated 8/1 with B&O (same order code). So I THINK I’m good. I hope lol.

Your car should be IN PRODUCTION and your a window Sticker should be available. You should be able to get it by clicking on TRACK MY ORDER in your email with the VIN, then click WINDOW STICKER.

Unfortunately no email and no "Track My Order" for EU cars. Even if I put my Order Number and VIN in the page (took from dealer's Vista) I get an error message. It's like that for all EU cars.

Math and being a little obsessed is the only way I caught it.
I bet that's why you don't see a lot of B&O cars on the dealer lots. I would/will have been so %$#*&^$# off if I wait 3 months and don't get exactly what I wanted. My Wife's Edge ST has the 780 watt B&O and it's one of my favorite options on that vehicle. It sounds so good.

Changes to some dashes after 7/27/22. It shows the pieces changed, but did not see info on what the changes are (color, texture, etc). Mine made just prior to this.

SUMMARY
Please be advised there will be a change to the instrument panel finish to some of the 2022MY Mustang arrays beginning with Job #2 production that begins shipping to dealers on 07/25/2022. All customers with affected retail orders must be made aware of this cosmetic change while dealer stock orders require no special handling.

While the automotive industry continues to be confronted by supply chain shortages, Ford is working diligently on the delivery of our vehicles to dealers and customers. These shortages impact a wide variety of components used to manufacture our products.

As a result, Ford will be making the following product offering changes to the 22MY Mustang that will affect the color of the instrument panel finish on four (4) separate pieces of the instrument panel on certain build combinations.

The four panels affected are:
Centre Panel
Headlamp Switch Bezel
Left Side Outboard Leg Panel
Right Side Outboard Leg Panel
The series affected include the EcoBoost Premium (200A/201A), GT (300A/301A), GT Premium (400/401A), and the California Package (54C).

To understand which series and the exact panels affected, please refer to the attached Instrument Panel J2 Changes & Illustration.

All units built and/or scheduled to be built on or after 06/27/22, will be affected by the color change to the instrument panel finish.

When you get that Wrangler CJPonyParts should give you a VIP account. I never used them until I got my Mustang, but now I default there for little things across both vehicles (I have a ‘22 Wrangler Sport).

Jeep seems to much slower with their builds so I’m not hoping for it before late winter. Ordered early June, good to know for the future!
I ordered a 2022 Tacoma but that was a nightmare early this year. Came with a bunch of body damage and scratched interior parts. Quality is slipping at toyota, The wrangler is a dedicated winter vehicle and a must have for some of the snow we see in MI.

Be aware they take 7-10 days for PDI. Also, being contacted by finance does not mean PDI is complete. I made both mistakes, almost with airfare. They WILL send proof of life if asked, which curbed some of my anxiety.

You can contact ford performance chat for an estimated delivery date. It seems fairly accurate. Mine seemed short compared to others, but turned out accurate for being convoyed. If your sticker is by rail, you might have to check once a week.

Who takes 7-10 days for pdi?

I drive off the lot within 2 hours of anything being delivered, Toyota, Ford...

Yeah it’s affecting GT’s without the performance pack. Looks like they slimmed down the offerings. Supplier problems I assume. I wonder what “Mesh 45” and “MIC” look like for the CS

I'm pretty sure the PP Gauge pack means its a different design in the center. Only two air vents and the two gauges in stead of the three vents in that drawing.
