Was shooting the shit with my dealer this AM and he had a customer (I’ll be vague here to protect) order a mid trim SUV back in October, heard absolutely zero since then, customer came back in this week and said the hell with it & wanted to order a fully loaded one at this point. Puts the new order in this week, came in today and now dealer’s got build dates for both cars and they’re a week apart. Lol. Zero rhyme or reason to this from Papa Ford, I’m just gonna sit back and wait. I’ve already learned there’s no reason to be excited until the car is on the way to the dealer.

Ordered my car (gt 301a balck accent package and active exhaust) on 12/17/21. Cqr was built on 2/14/22. Car was released on 2/27/22. Delivery date is today. Just got this text from my dealer saying the deliverly date has changed to MAY 11th!?! So the car is gonna sit in flat rock for 2-3 months before it can be delivered? Freaking ridiculous Ford. This is so incredibly frustrating.

Yes, this is very frustrating. I am sorry to hear that much more time is getting added to your order -- that will be almost halfway into 2022 before you get your 2022 car!

Question: Is it possible you can use this "bad news" from your dealer to leverage them into sharing more details from their "inside" systems to be more transparent with you in the information they have on that car? For example, there is a computer system that I believe only dealers can use and see, something called "Order Fulfillment Vehicle Visibility" where they get a lot more information on what is going on with the car -- including dates/times/statuses, etc. Below is an example of a screenshot from that system (which I stole from another Ford forum). In the screenshot it seems to have the tabs of: 1) Status History, 2) Vehicle Details, 3) Trace History, and 4) Order Change History. I'm wondering if your dealer can share with you all the details of what is in there for your car?

3 months to be delivered??? What on earth!!!

Just received notification that my Eruption Green base GT fastback has been scheduled to be built the week of May 2, 2022. I placed the order on January 20, 2022.

Just checked and for Next Week They will be Scheduling Build Dates for the weeks starting with May 2, May 9, May 16 & May 23. Says Clean up scheduling.
So we still have a chance for a May build. Lots of people getting notifications today too.

Interesting that my order says dark ceramic seats - almost look like a gray color. I don't remember checking that option, thought they would be black cloth. Hmmm...

You still don’t have build date? Was thinking your order was almost identical to mine. GT premium A10 401A black accent on MP color, also perf exhaust /b&o. My order was 1/8 with 3/28 build week (675). Hope you get email later if your still waiting!

Finally just got the “scheduled for production” email today!! May 2nd build week. So excited to have a specific date to look forward to now at least for the build. Looks like a lot more folks are getting them today too which is great to see.

Yay! Probably expect to see your window sticker like 3 weeks prior to that date.. Atleast that is how mine was.
