If they were legit they would state no eng/trans in their ad or at least show pictures of an empty engine compartment. What’s up with that? Trying to screw somebody.

There legit and they did have pics of the engine compartment. They were completely upfront as well. They told me what was going on with the car when the conversation started. The reality is these kinds of purchases/sales aren’t aimed at the casual buyer. There aimed at those that do this for a living or are in the industry. I did hundreds of clean title builders when I had a shop and the biggest issue I had was finding quality cars. That car will go to a shop that has a line on one thats wadded in the back or is a rollover.

I've been to this location before. They but insurance auction cars with damage or totalled out. Fix some of them and resell them. It's in the middle of a pretty bad area and a security guard there actually had an ar15 ready to go in any event I got out of hand lol. I went there to buy a wrecked zo6 vette and they sent it back to the auction right before I arrived without telling me. Drove 3 hours for nothing. So they are not a friendly reputable place.

You didn’t miss them, they weren’t on the main add. I get where your coming from and completely understand. I’m not advocating for them as a business just simply saying they weren’t hiding anything when I called.

Mentioned in our initial post that frontend was to high to have a mill in it.

Nobody is selling that car w/a mill & gear box at that price.
