Yeah, got some friends in Berkley , but we’ll have all the cars parked at his house and walk around.

I live 25 miles from the cruise so it doesn't affect us at all, I would never go, nothing appealing about getting involved in that mess. We'll be heading up to the lake house, which we try to do most summer weekends.
According to people in Royal Oak, it's gotten out of control to the point it's become an all summer thing, as opposed to a weekend, annoying the residents late at night, glad the police are ticketing/towing folks.

I want to go once just to say I’ve done it. My brother in law lives somewhat close and he’s said the same thing that it’s just getting way out of control. So I might end up just scratching it off my list, we’ll see. I can’t make it this year anyway.

You would think that Detroit needs the revenue of people visiting and spending money in that city... not ticketing and scaring them away. I will never understand that.

It's not in Detroit. It's in the northern suburbs. It runs up & down Woodward through Oakland county.
And yes, they need to ticket and scare people away. It was too much 20 years ago, and it's grown since then.

I registered for Mustang Ally. I volunteered to help park cars in the Ally 6am -9am.

It's a pretty nice area, you'd be irritated as well if you own an $800,000 home and have to deal with derelicts racing their cars up and down the streets until midnight all summer.
The dream cruise is officially Saturday from 9:00-9:00 I believe, but the idiots think it's all summer long.
They should be heavily ticketed, and then towed if they're stupid enough to leave their car sitting around.
