2022 GT with premium brakes upgrade

I'm not sure of that. I read somewhere that the 2022 came with 3 different brake options. Standard, 4 piston Brembo, and 6 piston. This of course could be BS...

There were pictures of the calipers and I determined mine were in the "middle".

There are 3 options:
* ecoboost (2-pot)
* GT or EB+PP aka EB+HPP (4-pot, not brembo. it's Conti)
* GT+PP or EB+PP+HP or M1 (6-pot)

'premium' trim means nothing at all.

On the suppliers- LMP has the "kit" for $999 but I read that the brake pads were generic or off brand. Levitown has Ford pads in their kit for $1200. I haven't found Rock Auto yet

I have the Levittown 'Bullit' 6 piston kit on my 2023. They are a huge improvement over the default Ecoboost brakes. Shocking.

Was looking at getting a 6 piston kit and powder coating to match my Grabber Blue paint. Still debating if I wanna grab the kit or build my own with stainless brake lines and maybe lighter rotors. The rear brakes are the same till the GT350 right?

They got some good deals, guess caliper bracket is the same from GT 4 pots to performance pack 6 pots?

Might have to make a different thread for this but does Ford make a rear caliper rebuild kit? If i'm taking apart the rear caliper to powder coat them i'd want to use new piston seals. I see kit BKCF-36 but that is just a hardware kit and doesn't have the piston seals. I do see CENTRIC 14361038 that has the seals but i'd rather use a FoMoCo part for brakes.

I’ve read the same thing… That being said my kit came with the lines from the takeoff car… I have not installed mine yet

I’m glad it worked for you… I looked at a lot of buying options and ended up going that way… The set I got looked like they stopped a car maybe three times, basically new.
